Since 2010, Mike has worked with a variety of decorators and homeowners to design and build unique pieces of furniture to specifically house anything from a client's beloved stereo component system, to a stylish rack intended solely for firewood. 
     On these type projects, he often labors to balance precise measurements and functional requirements with end products that foremost need to be pleasing to the eye.  Custom projects usually require pages of drawings and variations to ensure the end product will turn out to be exactly as expected. Often these kinds of projects could not be found on a shelf, and rarely are they reproduced. 

     Mike has built A/V cabinets with holes cut out to allow a subwoofer to properly deliver it's sound waves into the ground below it. Others have utilized removable back panels to allow access to the equipment enclosed.  He has built compartmentalized shelving systems and freestanding cabinets with doors to hide away components, cords and utilitarian objects. 

     In addition to the high quality interior pieces, Mike has fabricated custom 'chest' style cabinets with top opening lids that are solid enough to serve on, yet open and close effortlessly with the assistance of installed gas struts.    
     One piece pictured in this section was constructed to be weather resistant, to safely store patio furniture covers year round when the outdoor entertaining area is not in use.
