This section covers some of the gates, screens, and other items used in exterior settings. 

     Some of Mike's photos are of a group of gates for a client who needed to replace older wooden versions that had been damaged in the wind and elements. This particular client wanted solid steel gates that would endure but also contained imagery of the local NM plants and symbols around his yard and home. 
     I built him the pictured gates with agave, yucca and Zia symbols and have the pleasure to still see them in service after installing them 15 years ago. 

     Some examples shown in this section are of patio and backyard screens that were fabricated to give his clients a sense of privacy and help obstruct unwanted views, sun, and wind. 
     Mike has built some larger screens, needing on-site structural welding of beams and brackets to be filled in with machined wooden planks fabricated in his shop; as well as smaller decorative pieces like the plasma cut 'Reed" wall, or the screen made from old railroad hardware. 

     There are also pictures of a custom mailbox, he designed and built for a client that wanted to match their existing  gate and keypad by their front entrance. 

     Other featured items are a set of custom steel planters with drip trays that were constructed to match the 'modern' decor outside of the Santa Fe home that they would be placed at, and a birdfeeder design that Mike sells through a local decorator.
